Officer Belliveau chased a burglary suspect onto a roof and arrested him. He then collapsed and died of an aneurysm, which doctors indicated may have been triggered by the chase.

On September 3, 1987, Officer Nelson J. Belliveau was in the process of apprehending a burglary suspect having chased him onto a roof. After affecting the arrest, Officer Nelson J. Belliveau collapsed and died of an aneurysm. Doctors at the time indicated that the excitement of the chase may have triggered the aneurysm that burst.
